Nicole Elizete Theberath, Recipient of 2025 Firestone Medal for Excellence in Undergraduate Research
Nicole Elizete Theberath, Stanford University B.S. with Honors in Chemistry and Class of 2025, is the recipient of this year's Firestone Medal for Excellence in Undergraduate Research. Nicole's thesis focused on the "Clonal Behavior of Engineered CAR T Cells," under the mentorship of Ansuman Satpathy, Associate Professor of Pathology, and Theodore Roth, Assistant Professor of Pathology.
Nicole hails from Northfield, MN, and is a graduate of St. Olaf College. In the fall, Nicole will head off to Yale University to pursue a PhD in Chemistry.
About the Firestone Medal
The Firestone and Golden Medals are awarded to the top 10 percent of honors theses completed each year. The Firestone Medal for Excellence in Undergraduate Research recognizes theses written in the social sciences, natural sciences and engineering. The awardees each received an engraved bronze medal and a monetary award.
