Organic Chemistry Seminar: Abby Doyle, Princeton University (Host: Professor Justin Du Bois)

"Photocatalysis with Nickel"

About the Speaker:

Abigail Doyle received an AB and AM from Harvard University and then spent a year at Stanford conducting research with Prof. Justin Du Bois. Abby returned to Harvard for her PhD studies, working with Prof. Eric Jacobsen in the area of asymmetric catalysis. Abby joined the faculty at Princeton University in 2008, where she is currently the A. Barton Hepburn Professor of Chemistry. Her group’s research interests center on the invention of new approaches to chemical synthesis that harness unique properties of transition metal catalysts.
