- Principal Scientist, Medicinal Chemistry (202504-108598) - South San Francisco, CA - Genentech is seeking to hire a talented chemist to join their Small-Molecule Drug Discovery Chemistry Department in South San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and synthesizing analogs for molecular targets by applying innovative structure- and computation-driven and property-based design principles in a multi-disciplinary, team-based culture. In addition to close collaboration with other chemists, the candidate will engage with various functions such as Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics, Structural Biology, Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology, Machine Learning, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Safety, and disease area Biology.
